The VC/NVA articles below were taken as souvenirs by 199th personnel in both Vietnam and Cambodia. The SKS, which is unfired and still heavily covered in cosmoline, was taken by a member of B/5-12 in Cambodia when a large cache (500+) of the rifles were found outside of Firebase Myron in June, 1970.
The small, single-shot pistol was brought home by a member of C/3-7 when a small cache or enemy goods and munitions were found while operating outside of FSB Sun in May, 1970.
