The 313th Signal Company, one of the original organic units within the 199th, was given the mammoth task of creating, supplying, and maintaining accurate and reliable communication with the Brigade and all of its attached units.

"Commo," either by wire or radio, was of the utmost importance and the personnel from the 313th used a wide array of equipment to fulfill this mission over the thousands of miles that the Brigade covered in the III CTZ while in Vietnam.

The images below were taken by SP4 Albert Poirier, who served in the 313th Signal Company, 199th Infantry Brigade, from 2/68 - 2/69.  Poirier spent much of his time assisting in communications between Brigade HQ and the 2-3rd Infantry.
